We need to get noticed. How? Social Media, Video, SEO, my website, Google Ads, spend money, can I do it without spending too much money, write a blog or give up? Well we don’t want you to give up. We want you to focus on one thing, see if it can make a difference. Recently, we did a new website for the client based in a big town. We registered him for his business.

For any business registering your business on the map add what you do in the profile. He is one of the only businesses that have graphics on his google my business page. Within 2 weeks he had 2 enquirers and straight away he was able to pay for the work that had been done on the website and also looks into gaining a lot of extra revenue where he wouldn’t have done so before. Doing a website up made a big difference but the google listing also drove traffic to the website.

Every business is different though, some have small budgets, some are excellent at taken photos of there work, some don’t take any photos. Some are very active on Facebook and Instagram but others aren’t. Get in touch with us, see where your business needs to get to. We want to get the most from our leads, sales, customers, and clients. In the following post, I’m going to discuss three strategies that will make a big difference to you when selling for Christmas.

1. Social Media

It’s where it is at. I’d like to ask you a few questions? How do you use social media? Is it for the latest in the news feed, keep update with friends, message people for business or for personal use, to look at pretty pictures or have a laugh at the latest funny video that’s online. How do you engage with people online? Is it all personal engagement or do you engage with people that are not sales-y?

We have only started with Instagram with our new business get discovered online but for Video clip, a few months ago we did something with our own social media and it’s something we need to do a lot more of.

Make sure to ask questions and make keep interest on the business page, say something funny or spark engagement. Tag people and get them involved, tag other businesses.

2. Website

One strategy that works very well with websites is your images. Make sure your image has an alt tag. What is an alt tag? This is an alternative text that is used to explain the appearance and function of an image on a page through the use of HTML. If you are using a content management system like WordPress, it allows you to add these when adding media to your page.

3. Google My Business

Do you have a Google listing for your business, Google has really stepped up there mark on local searches and if you have a local business and your location is linked to the location on your website Google will reward you for this.

I would recommend you get reviews from customers, set a target, get one review a week, these will all help. If you set this target and you get reviews from Google accounts that have a lot of usages, Google will reward you for this and in return send more traffic to your website.
